High Risk

West Virginia Voter ID Laws:

In-Person Voter ID: Weak – A photo ID, non-photo ID, or personal identification from a poll worker or other person is accepted, however, a voter can still vote a signed provisional ballot if no ID is presented. If the signature matches the voter registration signature, the ballot will count.

Absentee/Mail Voting Voter ID: Weak – The voter’s signature is checked on the returned ballot.
