Low Risk
Kentucky Voter ID Laws:
In-Person Voter ID: Strong - Photo ID is requested. However, if none is provided a voter may have their identity affirmed from a poll worker, or they may vote by both signing a “Reasonable Impediment Oath” and presenting either a social security card, county ID card, benefit card, credit/debit card, or any ID which has the name and photo of the voter.
Absentee/Mail Voting Voter ID: Medium - Copy of photo ID or “Reasonable Impediment Oath” and approved non-photo ID (social security card, county ID card, benefit card, credit/debit card, or any ID which has the name and photo of the voter) is required for the application, and the voter’s signature is checked on the returned ballot.
